Many common brands of printers automatically print invisible tracking dots on each piece of paper it prints. These dots can be used to identify the exact printer used, as well as the date and time the paper was printed.

Inspired by this I decided to create a corresponding “good guys” desktop wallpaper using the logo for the Rebel Alliance.
My buddy Steve liked the idea and decided to take it a step further, creating a “proper” full set of awesome minimal desktop backgrounds based on super-subtle Star Wars references.
